GSAC and COM present the Spring Sponsored Break on November 21...

Graduate Student Advisory Committee (GSAC) hosted its very first sponsored break in the spring of 2006 to promote the building of community and networking opportunities within the College of Management. Since the sponsored break is well accepted and welcomed by students and faculty alike, GSAC has decided to make such breaks a regular activity every semester.

On November 21, a few days before Thanksgiving, GSAC and COM hosted the second sponsored break for this fall semester.  The break lasted for approximately 30 minutes where students and faculty are addressed by Prof. Ken Zapp (Director of Graduate Studies), alumni, and GSAC. While enjoying a light dinner, students and faculty co-mingled and listen to words of wisdom from two of our prominent alumni - John Slama and Andrew Galas.

Dean Seiler fully understands our GSAC dilemma - "our intention to sponsor the break with our own funds is willing, but our financials are weak"! Thus, special thanks to the College of Management for fully sponsoring the expense of the great food during the break, again!
